Hit my six-week mark in the Forge yesterday and the app pulled up the past-self comparison. Wanted to write down what's actually different, partly for me and partly because I'd have found this useful to read in week one.
Numbers that moved: Squat triple up 7.5kg. Bodyweight down 2.1kg with waist down 3cm (so likely fat, not muscle). Resting heart rate down 4bpm. Forge Score average gone from 58 to 71.
Numbers I expected to move that didn't: Bench (see other thread, sigh). Sleep duration — still average 6h50, can't crack 7.
Things that aren't numbers but matter more: I don't dread Monday training any more. I've stopped weighing myself daily because the weekly average is the only honest read. I had one full week where I hit my morning intention every day and I noticed how different that week felt before the score told me.
The thing that surprised me most: Mind pillar moved the most in percentage terms and I genuinely didn't think it would. Twenty minutes of reading at lunch instead of scrolling, three times a week, was enough to shift it nearly fifteen points.
Not posting this as a flex. Posting it because six weeks ago I would have called this a slow start and given up. It isn't. It's just what real progress looks like when you stop comparing it to someone else's highlight reel.
