Right, posting this because my Coach has heard about it twice already and I need to think out loud somewhere.
Bench has been stuck at 90kg for a triple for about eight weeks now. Everything else is moving — squat went up 7.5kg in the same window, deadlift is climbing, conditioning is the best it's been. Just the bench sitting there like a stubborn toddler.
Programming is the standard RPC upper-lower split, bench twice a week, one heavier session one volume. Sleep is genuinely fine (7+ hours, Forge Body pillar averaging mid-70s). Eating in a small surplus, protein is locked in.
Things I've tried: paused reps, longer rests, dropping the volume day to spam triples instead. Nothing has properly shifted it.
Is this a just be patient situation or am I actually doing something stupid? Open to being told I'm doing something stupid.
