Why Content Matters Publishing content on RPC puts you in front of potential clients before they ever book a session. It shows your expertise, builds trust, and gives people a reason to choose you over someone else. Every article, video, or guide you publish appears on the RPC blog and your coach profile — working for you around the clock.
What to Write About Start with what you already know. Your daily conversations with clients are full of content ideas:
Common questions — "How much protein do I actually need?" becomes an article Mistakes you see — "5 Form Mistakes Killing Your Bench Press" is instantly useful Client transformations — share the journey (with permission) and the methods behind it Your philosophy — what makes your approach different? Write about it Seasonal content — "How to Stay Consistent Over Christmas" or "Summer Shred: A Realistic Plan" Content Types RPC supports three content types. Mix them up:
Articles — Written guides, opinion pieces, educational posts. Aim for 400-800 words. Keep paragraphs short. Use headers to break up sections.
Videos — Film a quick exercise demo, a day-in-the-life, or a 3-minute tip. Keep it under 5 minutes. Vertical format works best for mobile viewers.
Guides — Longer, structured content. Step-by-step plans, beginner programmes, nutrition frameworks. These are your highest-value content and the most likely to convert browsers into clients.
Writing Tips Write like you talk. Drop the textbook language. If you wouldn't say it to a client face-to-face, don't write it.
Lead with the benefit. Not "The Science of Progressive Overload" but "How to Get Stronger Every Single Week."
Be specific. "Eat more protein" is forgettable. "Aim for 1.6g per kg of bodyweight, split across 3-4 meals" is actionable.
Use your experience. Share real examples from your coaching (anonymised). "I had a client who..." is more engaging than generic advice.
Keep it honest. Don't promise transformations in 7 days. The RPC community values coaches who are real.
How to Publish Log in to The Forge and go to your PT Dashboard Click Content in the sidebar Hit New Article, New Video, or New Guide Fill in the title, summary, and body content Add relevant tags so it appears in the right categories Toggle Publish when you're ready — it goes live on RPC immediately Making It Count Consistency beats perfection. One solid piece per week builds your presence faster than one perfect piece per month. Your first article won't be your best — publish it anyway. The coaches who show up regularly are the ones clients remember.
